Careers team update

by Ms Fiona Fuller, Careers Coordinator

Farewell to Jen Muller

The BHHS and Careers Team have been lucky to have Jen by our side for the past 9+ years! She first joined BHHS with the Learning Support team and then made the leap into an admin role with the Careers Team almost three years ago – and we haven't looked back since.

Jen has been the organisational wizard behind the scenes, helping us streamline key admin processes so that students and families get everything they need before heading off to work experience or structured workplace learning. Her sharp eye for detail and genuine care meant our students were always in good hands.

Now, Jen has decided it's time to enjoy the quieter life – splitting her time between her home in the eastern suburbs and her country retreat in Alexandra, where she and her husband Tim have some exciting renovation plans (right after a bit of overseas adventuring!).

Jen, your style, wit, and warm heart have been such a joy to have around. Thank you for everything – we’ll miss you heaps, don’t be a stranger!

Welcome Sara Spallas!

We're excited to welcome Sara to the Careers Team as our new admin assistant!

Sara (pictured in the banner image above) joins us from Kew High, where she was part of the Learning Support and Disability Inclusion teams. She brings with her a wonderful sense of care, attention to detail, and a calm, considered approach – all perfect qualities for our busy careers office.

We're thrilled to have her on board and look forward to working closely together. Welcome to the team, Sara!
