IF THIS COUCH COULD TALK – KSC SCHOOL PRODUCTION 2025

What a performance! From auditions to rehearsals, camp, and opening night, our students poured their heart and talent into this year’s production, If This Couch Could Talk—an original script by Mrs Reymers with music composed by Ms Handley.

The excitement began early as our cast proudly accepted their roles, followed by a bustling lunchtime meeting to kick off the rehearsal process. Students then headed to Production Camp on 8–9 August, where a record 43 cast, band, and crew members came together to polish scenes, music, and backstage elements. A huge thank you to the dedicated staff who supported the weekend.

All that hard work culminated in two incredible performances. The KSC stage came alive with humour, emotion, and nostalgia as audiences followed a humble couch through 50 years of family life—from 1970s newlyweds to ‘80s sleepovers, ‘90s garage bands, and the digital world of today. Live music, creative staging, and a hardworking backstage team made the show truly unforgettable.
