Year 11 Report

Kirstie Smith

Welcome back Year 11 students!

It has been wonderful to see our Year 11s settling so positively into their new roles within the Senior School and becoming familiar with their classes and routines.

We were also delighted by the enthusiasm and house spirit shown at the Swimming Carnival on Thursday 13 February - it was fantastic to see so many students getting involved, supporting one another, and representing their houses with pride.

Last week, we proudly held our Badge Ceremony, recognising students who have taken on leadership positions such as House Captains and other Year Level roles. We congratulate these students on their achievement and thank them for their willingness to lead and represent their peers.

A friendly reminder that PE uniform should only be worn on designated PE days and must comply with school policy, including wearing either school shorts or plain black shorts of an appropriate length. We also remind families about the Personal Electronic Device (PED) policy: items such as AirPods must not be used during school hours, and if students are found using them, they will be required to hand them in to the front office.

Please also note that Friday 6th March is a Student-Free Day, and Monday 9th March is the Labour Day Public Holiday, so students will not be required at school on these dates.

We appreciate your continued support in helping our Year 11 students maintain high standards and a positive learning environment.
