School Saving Bonus

Primary Parent A has received an email from the School Saving Bonus (SSB) team which provides parents with a link to the SSB portal and their unique log-in code. Here is a how-to video guide available for parents on how to access the portal. 

Parent information is offered in 14 languages: School Saving Bonus | vic.gov.au  

Some common examples of school activities for which the School Saving Bonus may be used include:

• school camps, trips, excursions and incursions

• swimming and sporting programs

• outdoor education programs

• graduations 

• school uniforms

• textbooks. 

Alternatively, the parent/carer can purchase uniforms and/or textbooks via an in-store or online purchase, with our school suppliers. 

The School Saving Bonus cannot be used towards:

• activities required for the school’s delivery of the curriculum

• before/after school care

• locker hire

• classroom and homework materials

• formals or debutante balls. 

Families who have more than one child at the same school can combine their School Saving Bonus to use on one child or for a specific activity (for example, a camp).

The school can lodge 2025 CSEF Applications from 29 January 2025. Please send your forms to the school and provide a scanned copy of both sides of your health care card.
