DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARD
DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARD
This year, eight students undertook their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award, and three students tackled their Silver Award. The students have participated in Community Service, Physical Activity and a Skill across the year, setting goals and striving to achieve them in a range of activities including umpiring sports, playing musical instruments, cooking and contributing to local community organisations and our school community. The students also undertook an Adventurous Journey to Wilson's Promontory National Park, completing an overnight hike to Oberon Bay. The group was required to provide their own meals, and carry all their equipment to complete the task while learning about safety in the great outdoors. All students have applied themselves wholeheartedly and we look forward to celebrating their achievements next year.
