VM

VCE – VM 2024

Our students across year 11 and 12 who engaged in the VM program continued to access TAFE study and work placement opportunities within their timetabled program. In classes we saw so many new learnings about how to operate with our Literacy and Numeracy Skills and applying these into both Personal Development and Work Related programs.

In year 11 – many students were new to the TAFE process and work placement arrangement, seeing them manage classes at school for three days and out on other engaging programs for two days. Students engaged in understanding the requirements for the workplace, but also learnt about how to manage their personal interests and how community programs operate to build our society.

In year 12, we continued our learning across our subjects, TAFE and work placements. We saw personal projects of learning come into fruition at the end of the year where students undertook learning across a range of self devised interests such as: improving their golf swing, understanding the tech and training regime of elite basketball players, sewing your own plushie, 3D printing your own designs, learning the history of animation and creating own animations, developing a seasonal menu from local produce, investigating cruise liner holidays, reviewing the impact of historical events on Australia and planning trips with friends at the end of the year.

We are very proud of the learning demonstrated by our VM classes and wish them all a very happy start to 2025.
