Bus Safety

We are aware that many of our students travel to and from school by bus. Recently, concerns have been raised by members of the public and the bus company regarding unsafe behaviour. Students must remain on the footpath and well off the road until the bus has come to a complete stop and the doors have opened. Walking towards a moving bus or stepping onto the road before it has stopped places students at serious risk. We appreciate your support in reinforcing these important safety expectations to ensure all students travel safely.

Parking Reminder

With reduced parking currently available at Melba, families are asked to please be mindful when using surrounding streets for alternative parking. This includes ensuring driveways, intersections and designated No Standing areas remain clear at all times. Your consideration helps keep our community safe and maintains good relationships with our neighbours. Thank you for your support.
