Term 1 has been a vibrant and successful start to the year, filled with energy, achievement, and a strong sense of community across the College. Our Swimming Sports were a standout highlight, showcasing not only impressive athletic ability but also incredible house spirit and participation. It was wonderful to see students encouraging one another, getting involved, and embracing the day with enthusiasm. Alongside these celebrations, there has been a clear focus in classrooms on establishing strong learning routines, setting high expectations, and building the foundations for academic success.
Student Voice has also played a powerful role this term, with students actively contributing ideas and shaping initiatives across the school. Through ongoing Student Pulse checks, we have been able to listen more closely to student experiences and use their feedback to strengthen engagement, wellbeing, and learning outcomes. This intentional focus supports a culture where students are both challenged and supported, ensuring that learning remains purposeful, rigorous, and responsive.

Our commitment to SWPBS (School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support) continues to underpin all that we do, promoting a consistent and positive approach to behaviour and wellbeing. It has been fantastic to celebrate students through STRIVE Awards, recognising those who demonstrate our core values each and every day. We have also proudly acknowledged students achieving 100% attendance this term—an outstanding accomplishment that reflects dedication and a strong commitment to learning. High attendance, combined with consistent effort in the classroom, is key to maintaining academic growth and momentum.
As we look ahead to Term 2, we are focused on building on this strong start and maintaining our momentum in both learning and engagement. Multicultural Week will provide a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diversity within our community, fostering understanding, pride, and connection. Our Athletics Day is another much-anticipated event, promising spirited competition and participation. We encourage all students to continue striving for their personal best, embracing challenges, and taking pride in their learning as we move into another term of growth, achievement, and success together.
