Year 7/8 Sub-School Report

Well what a busy term we have had! The Year 7 and 8 students have started the year exceptionally well. They have settled into their new classes, creating good orderly learning environments. The Year 7 students have risen to the challenge of meeting people, forming new friendships, understanding a new school and becoming part of the Melba College community. The Year 8 students have navigated new challenges, celebrated milestones, and strengthened their bonds as a year group.

Year 7 have showcased their ‘This is Me’ project and attended their camp. Year 7 sport this term was Volleyball, Tennis and Cricket. This is the first opportunity our Year 7 students have been able to represent the school. 

Year 8 sport this term was Volleyball, Tennis and Cricket. All teams showed exceptional teamwork, encouragement and resilience throughout each match. We are very proud of the Year 8 Boys B Volleyball and the Year 8 Girls A Volleyball team for  winning all of their matches. The girls are through to the next round.
