Year 7 Report
Emily Beale
We are incredibly proud of our Year 7 students for successfully completing their NAPLAN assessments over the past few weeks. Throughout the testing period, students demonstrated excellent resilience, focus, and a positive attitude. It has been wonderful to see the way they approached each challenge with determination, and we commend them for their efforts.
Looking ahead, we are excited for the upcoming Year 7 Camp, which will run from Tuesday 31st March to Thursday 2nd April at Adekate Camp. This is always a highlight of the year and a fantastic opportunity for students to build friendships, develop independence, and challenge themselves in new ways.
As part of the camp experience, students will also visit Sovereign Hill, where they will have some time to explore and visit the shops. Students are welcome to bring a small amount of money (coins/change is recommended) if they wish to make purchases.
During camp, students will participate in a variety of engaging and adventurous activities, including:
Archery
Zipline
Team-building activities
Orienteering
Leap of Faith
Please note that the last day of Term 1 is Thursday 2nd April, with students finishing at 2:30pm. We will return from camp in time for students to catch their usual buses home.
We are looking forward to seeing students step outside their comfort zones, support one another, and create lasting memories.
If you have any questions about camp, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
End of Term 1: Thursday 2nd April 2026 - 2:30pm.
