International Women's Day 2022

International Women’s Day – March 2022

On the 8th of March Craigieburn Secondary College celebrated International Women’s Day. The day is to celebrate women's achievements as well as raise awareness against bias and take action for equality.

This year’s theme was Break the Bias: 

Imagine a gender equal world.

A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.

A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

A world where difference is valued and celebrated.

Together we can forge women's equality.

Collectively we can all break the bias.

CSC celebrated the day by asking students “What does a greater future look like for you?” 

Many great conversations were had on the day and we received some very insightful answers to our question.  

We also encouraged students and staff to take a photo with their favourite break the bias selfie card. 

The day was a great success. 

A huge thank you to all the students and staff who participated throughout the day.
