Year 9 Outdoor Education

Surfing was the winner at Torquay

A group of year 9 students traveled out to Torquay as part of the Year 9 Outdoor Education Program. While there, students undertook a surfing lesson to further their understanding of safety around open water.

The group was once again praised for not only their persistence but also their sense of community towards each other and the instructors. After not having excursions over the past few years, students were happy to be out of the school and learning in a different environment.

Well done to all that attended and we are sure they will build on their surfing skills during the year 9 Outdoor Education camp experience.
