Languages

Our Italian languages team has been collaborating together to build a strong and engaging curriculum for our students and has been very successful in creating a variety of resources to scaffold the Joint Construction phase, (where teachers and students jointly work to produce a high-quality exemplar of what students are expected to produce), of the teaching and learning cycle. Mr Ferro has also trialed CLIL (Content Language Integrated Learning) with his Year 7 CEAP class with success.

We are excited to implement planned activities including a treasure hunt and a whole-school Italian day in term 2.

A proposal to introduce VCE Arabic in 2023 was supported by Education Committee and will be available as a subject choice in this year's subject selection program.
