Debating

Hi All,  

On March 7 Craigieburn Secondary College participated in the first round of the inter-school DAV debating competition.

The topic was: "That sporting bodies should not accept sponsorship from gambling companies." Both Craigieburn teams were arguing against on this topic.

Craigieburn Secondary College 2 versed St Pauls Anglican Grammar School (Warragul) 2. Craigieburn won this debate. Stiva Shabah was awarded the best speaker of the debate. Please do congratulate them on their stellar efforts.

Craigieburn Secondary College 1 versed Lavalla Catholic College 2. Craigieburn narrowly lost this debate by 2 points. Please do commend them for representing their school in this debate.
