Traffic Safety Management

Traffic Safety and Kiss & Drop Procedures

I again want to reiterate that the safety of our students, families and staff is our highest priority. To keep everyone safe around both campuses, we ask all families to support consistent and responsible traffic management before and after school.

Where possible, we strongly encourage families to walk their children to and from school. Walking helps reduce congestion and makes the surrounding streets safer for everyone. Families who are walking can use the Kirner Street entrance at the Molesworth Street Campus and the Water Tank Gate on Harcourt Street at the Errol Street Campus.

If you choose to use the Kiss & Drop zones at either campus, it is essential that they are used as intended.

The Kiss & Drop areas on Murphy Street, Harcourt Street and Molesworth Street are strictly 2-minute drop-off and pick-up zones only. Drivers must remain in their vehicles at all times. These areas operate in the same way as an airport drop-off zone — quick, efficient and no parking permitted.

To keep traffic flowing smoothly:

  • Pull up safely in the designated zone.

  • Students should be ready to exit the vehicle promptly.

  • Drivers must stay in the car and move off immediately once the drop-off or pick-up is complete.

  • Do not park or leave your vehicle unattended in these areas.

If you need more time, please park in a nearby street and walk your child to or from the school gates. This helps maintain the safety and efficiency of the Kiss & Drop system for all families.

Thank you for working together to keep our school community safe.
