International Women's Day

From Sarah Nightingale, Principal

This Sunday marks 115 years of International Women’s Day. I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of all of the women within our community (and those that support them at home and at school), including but not limited to parents, classroom helpers, P&F committee, and School Councillors. We thank you for the extra effort that goes into making our school what it is.

Additionally, I would like to acknowledge the work of our teachers, leaders and ES staff who provide a strong example to our students every day.

We hope our students can reflect on the positive female role models in their lives and in the media, such as our Winter Olympians, Matildas players, and AFL-W players, and hope that this trajectory of women in sport, STEM, leadership, Performing Arts, and other public-facing roles continues. We cannot wait to see what our students can achieve.
