Bring a picnic blanket, some snacks, and the whole family—our first Community Picnic of the year is coming up!This relaxed after school gathering is a wonderful opportunity for families, students, and staff to connect in a casual, fun environment.There will be space for families to spread out, socialise, and enjoy some time together. The picnic is the perfect way to meet others, build friendships, and celebrate the start of a new school year.

Your Invitation to the P&F

As we settle into the rhythm of the school year, it’s the perfect time to look at the "hidden engine" that helps our school thrive: the Parents & Friends (P&F) Association.

The P&F is more than just a committee; it’s where lasting friendships are formed and where we work together to create the best possible experience for our children and ourselves.

Why Community Matters

A strong school community sends a powerful message to our students. When they see parents and staff working hand-in-hand, it fosters a sense of security, pride, and belonging. Beyond the social perks, the P&F provides vital resources— currently the Errol Street Campus southside playground redevelopment is well underway.

Big Plans for 2026: Trivia & The Fete!

We have some exciting events on the horizon that need your energy and ideas to bring to life:

• The School Fete (6th November): It’s the biggest day on our social calendar! We are going to start the groundwork for this massive celebration.

• Trivia Night: We are currently inquiring about dates at the Meat Market, where we held our inaugural Trivia Night last year. It’s a great way for the adults to connect and test their knowledge!

   

How You Can Help (No Matter Your Schedule!)

We know life is busy, and "volunteering" can sometimes sound like a massive commitment. But here’s the secret: every bit counts.

• The "One-Hour" Hero: An hour commitment to help with a stall at the Fete, be a photographer, graphic design, cook or serve some sausages! We’d love to have you.
• The Planner: Do you enjoy brainstorming themes, coordinating vendors, or project management? We need your "big picture" thinking for our November Fete.
• The Supporter: Simply showing up to the events or baking something for the bake sale!

If you’ve been looking for a way to give back or simply want to meet more families, now is the perfect time to jump in.

• The AGM (Annual General Meeting): Monday, 23rd March Online @6pm
• The Next General Meeting: Monday, 30th March @6:30pm, Bar Taralli, 12 Errol St, North Melbourne
