Biz -E -Kidz Update

From Libby Hanna, Biz-E-Kidz Coordinator
Exploring and sharing
Senior and Junior children have given us lots of valuable input for our Holiday Program Plan - bookings open Tuesday 10th of March at 7:15am.
We welcome a new incursion provider, Patrick from ‘Farm to Ferment’ who has run workshops at local community events and was recommended to us by a Biz-E-Kidz family.
Prep children have been discussing which languages they speak at home and making posters representing their languages to foster their sense of ownership and belonging at our Prep Program.
All age groups of children have been exploring imagery and themes of Ramadan and Lunar New Year. We hope families who participate in these events are having plenty of time with family and friends, with special meals and excited children. We have a lot of celebrations happening for the families of Biz-E-Kidz, and we try to give children every opportunity to express themselves and share their cultural identity with all of us here. We are always interested in hearing about what our families are celebrating, please let us know so we can share the learning with everyone.
School Council-owned outside school hours care services are uniquely placed to reflect the needs, values and identities of their school communities. Biz-E-Kidz has proudly serviced the NMPS community for 49 years and our roots in the North Melbourne community are generations deep. We thank the School Council for facilitating us to deliver high quality community-owned, not-for-profit outside school hours education and care.
