Year 8 Report
Annie Flood
It has been a busy and positive few weeks for our Year 8 students, with many opportunities for learning, growth, wellbeing sessions and involvement in school activities.
Students have been working hard across all subject areas and should be commended for their effort and resilience as assessment tasks continue to increase throughout the year. It has been pleasing to see many students getting involved with our wellbeing afternoons and participating in the wellbeing activities ran by our year 11 VCE VM students.
As we move further into the term, we encourage all students to:
Stay organised with homework and assessment dates
Bring the correct equipment to class each day
Continue showing respect towards staff and peers
Seek help from teachers whenever needed
Families can support students by regularly checking compass, emails, discussing upcoming assessment tasks, and encouraging consistent study routines at home.
We also remind students of the importance of maintaining positive attendance habits, as regular attendance has a significant impact on learning and wellbeing.
Thank you to families for your ongoing support throughout the term. We are proud of the efforts our Year 8 students continue to make and look forward to another successful period of learning and participation.
