Our Year 9 students are diving into the fascinating world of atoms. They are learning how the structure of atoms explains the properties of elements and compounds, and how atomic models have changed as scientific knowledge has grown.
Through hands-on activities and investigations, students are building their understanding of how matter behaves, how chemical reactions occur, and why atomic theory is essential to modern science and technology. It’s exciting to see students developing curiosity and scientific thinking as they explore the building blocks of the universe!

Our Year 11 VCE Biology students are currently investigating plant and animal systems, with a focus on how organisms maintain stable internal conditions through homeostasis. Students are learning how body systems work together to regulate factors such as temperature, water balance and blood glucose, and how disruptions to these systems can lead to disease. Through analysing real data and case studies, they are developing skills in scientific inquiry, critical thinking and communication.
