Year 10 Work Experience

Thank you to all students who have returned their Work Experience forms and completed their Safe@Work certificates – great job getting organised!

Work Experience booklets will be handed out during Explore next week. These booklets must be completed throughout your placement week as part of your program requirements.

Don’t forget to bring your completed booklet back to school the following week, as we’ll be using them to reflect and debrief in Explore.

We look forward to hearing about your experiences!

Year 11 SBAT Applications

A limited number of places have become available in our VCE VM SBAT class, and we are now accepting applications.

Applications close at 3:30pm on Thursday 22 May. Please note that late applications will not be accepted. All applications must be submitted to the Pathways Hub.

Before submitting your application, you (and/or your parents) are required to meet us. Please ensure this meeting has taken place by Thursday 21 May prior to signing and handing in your form.

Year 11 VCE Vocational Major Subject Change Applications are also now open and will close at the same time.

Year 11 VCE subject change applications will open next week, please keep an eye out for further information and application forms.

Please note that all subject changes are subject to class availability.

Access Monash Pathways Pop-Up a Great Success

It was fantastic to see so many senior students attend our recent Access Monash Pathways Pop-Up held in the Senior Centre at lunchtime on Friday.

The session created a relaxed and welcoming environment where students had the opportunity to engage directly with current Monash University students. It was particularly encouraging to see attendees actively participating, asking thoughtful and meaningful questions, not only about study techniques and organisation strategies, but also about the realities of student life beyond school. 

Students also enjoyed the fun, interactive activities, where learning was turned into games, creating a lively atmosphere. Many even walked away with some Monash merchandise, adding an extra layer of excitement to the session.

We look forward to hosting more Pathways Pop-Ups throughout the term and continuing to support students as they explore their next steps beyond school.
