Wrap up!
IT'S A WRAP!! At the end of last term we walked 50kms from St Kilda to Frankston to raise $100,000 for the Royal Children Hospital's Good Friday Appeal.
$80,795 raised!
Cheque Presentation
On Friday 3 April, Principal Carrie Wallis together with our iCan Captains Ella and Deng presented the big cheque live on Channel 7 on behalf of all our walkers, sponsors and community.
The Good Friday arena was awe-inspiring with a palpable positive vibe in the air! We kept watching our fundraising page and didn't write the cheque amount until the last minute...
In the end, we were able to write an outstanding $78,232 on the cheque!!
Good Friday marked the start of the school holidays and all our walkers commenced a well deserved break. However we were all in for big surprise at the beginning of Term 2, when we discovered that our fundraising page has continued to raise money and we raised over $80k and now at $80,795!
