As Term 2 wears on, our Year 7-10 English classes have dove into their novel studies, with assessments right around the corner!
This has gone by well, with many classes now moving forward to brush up on essay writing skills. This affords students an opportunity to showcase their textual knowledge, as well as their ability to express and communicate their thoughts and interpretations.
Each year level, that is, all students in Years 7 to 11 will be completing an English exam between Weeks 8 and 9. These exams are an essential piece of information to afford teachers an insight into the learning that has taken place in their classrooms over the course of the semester, and are another opportunity for students to show mastery over a variety of topics.
Exams can be stressful for everyone involved, but by putting their best foot forward and trying their best, students will be able to succeed.
