Year 7 Report 

Dear Year 7 Parents and Carers, 

We’re flying through Term 2, and it’s hard to believe how quickly the weeks are passing!

It’s been a busy and rewarding time for our students, and we’ve enjoyed seeing them engage in a range of activities. A recent highlight was our Mother’s Day Morning Tea, where students shared a special morning with their loved ones to show appreciation and gratitude – thank you to all who joined us. 

As the weather grows colder, a reminder that students must continue to wear their correct academic uniform. If your child requires any uniform items or support in obtaining them, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school. 

🌟 A special shout out to our students of the week: 

• 7A: Seb for showing great initiative and striving to challenge himself in various tasks. This includes being quite reflective in his conversations with staff. Well done Seb. 

   

• 7B: Well done to Xavier for his confidence and enthusiasm in class. He has great knowledge of our class text, Blueback, and always shares insightful examples that help the whole class think deeper. Keep up the amazing work! 

   

• 7C:  Piper for always giving 110% effort throughout your classes, while being such a bright spark in the room! You are always willing to put in the extra work.  

   

• 7D: A big congratulations to Josie for her upbeat and positive attitude! Josie has been smashing out her work and always gives 100% effort in everything she does. Her energy and dedication are infectious – well done, Josie! 

   

• 7E: Shoutout to Cara for being an absolute star in the classroom. She is always polite, determined, and honest, consistently demonstrating respect and strong effort in all she does. Cara listens attentively, tackles every task with a positive attitude, and her quiet determination and thoughtful nature make her a truly valued member of the class.

This week, we are holding our Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences (PTSC) online. While bookings have now closed, if you were unable to secure a time, we encourage you to contact your child’s teachers via email on Compass to receive an update on their progress. We value strong partnerships between home and school and are committed to keeping you informed.
