Learning Support Update

The Learning Support space has been buzzing with activity this term!

Our lunchtime clubs continue to thrive, offering students a chance to relax, connect, and engage in activities they love. The Chess, Minecraft, Tabletop Games, and Knitting clubs have all been going strong, with fantastic student participation and lots of fun had by all.

We’re also thrilled with the progress being made in our Sounds~Write program. Students involved have been showing steady improvement in their reading and spelling skills, and it’s been wonderful to see their confidence grow week by week. A big well done to everyone for their hard work and positive attitude!

Don’t forget to check out the Learning Support Noticeboard – it's your go-to hub for all the latest happenings. Each week, you'll find a list of upcoming events, a motivational quote to inspire, and a brain teaser to challenge your mind. Students have really enjoyed stopping by to test their wits and grab a dose of weekly inspiration!

It’s also been fantastic to see students making great use of the Learning Support space during breaks and class time when needed. Whether it's for a quiet moment, some extra help, or just a friendly chat, we're here for you.

With exam weeks fast approaching, the LSO team is excited and ready to support students in any way we can – whether it’s helping with study strategies, organisation, or just being a calm and encouraging presence. We’re proud of how our students are preparing and showing resilience, and we’re here every step of the way.

Keep up the great work, everyone!
