Year 9 Morrisby Profiles

Last week our Year 9's did an amazing job of completing their Morrisby profiles. The Morrisby Profile is a series of assessments and questionnaires that delivers personalised pathways guidance for students as they head towards their senior years at school.

For those students who were absent on the day, we will be providing catch up sessions in the next few weeks.

Students will receive their results later in the year and will also get the opportunity to sit down with a Morrisby consultant to unpack these results.

We recently had David from Citipower/Powercor come out and talk to our Year 11 and 12 VCE:VM students about employment opportunities and apprenticeships with this company. David spent about an hour going through the different types of jobs, entry requirements and benefits of working in this very well-paid industry.

Lucas Gale volunteered to put on some of the PPE used to protect workers. Lucas was challenged to undo a bolt while wearing safety gloves and let’s just say it was a lot more difficult than it looked.

This week 5 students went to Ballarat Group Training (BGT) to complete their White Card Training. Now these students can safely and legally enter a construction site for work experience or potentially for a future pathway.

Year 10 Work Experience - REMINDER

Work Experience will be taking place Monday 23rd June to Friday 27th June 2025.

All Year 10 students should have received a Work Experience Pack in class. This pack contains all relevant information relating to Work Experience.

Work Experience is a Department of Education mandated learning experience for all Year 10 students across Victoria.

As always the Pathways Team is available to all students should they need assistance arranging their Work Experience.
