As the year picks up pace and assessments roll in, it’s easy to let routines slip. But this is exactly when they matter most.
At the start of the year, we spoke about building strong habits—reviewing notes, planning study time, balancing work with rest. These routines help us stay focused and reduce stress, even when things get busy.
Now’s the time to stay consistent. Keep turning up prepared, asking questions, and revising regularly. If something isn’t working, adjust it—but don’t abandon the structure been built. Routines provide stability in an unpredictable time.
The General Achievement Test (GAT) - upcoming
The GAT is a key part of the VCE. It assesses your skills in literacy, numeracy, and general knowledge, and it plays a role in confirming your exam and coursework results. All students enrolled in one or more VCE or scored VCE VET Unit 3–4 sequences must sit the GAT. We have been completing a number of information sessions and tasks to ready the students.
The GAT will be held on Tuesday 17th June.
