Girls' teams kick off

Girls Football

Football is one of the most popular sports for girls at our school, so it isn’t surprising that the girls would also embrace the indoor version of the sport in Futsal. In late February our under 14 and 16 girls Futsal teams participated at the Liverpool regional championships. Both teams were crowned regional champions with wins over Bossley Park High School (14s) and All Saints Catholic College (16s) and will now compete with other schools for the state title later in the year.

We have also kicked off our campaign in the Open Girls Football state-wide competition the Puma Trophy. We progressed straight into the second round after having a bye in round 1. We played Bonnyrigg High School in Round 2 and defeated them 14-0.

Under 15 Bill Turner Trophy

Our girls look forward to continuing their football success in the under 15 Bill Turner Trophy competition later this term against former assistant coach Mr Condon and his side from Oran Park High School.
