Bayspeak Debating Heat

"I had the opportunity to pop down to this week’s Bayspeak Heat. Wow the calibre of the young speakers were amazing! The Brighton Secondary students were fabulous - confident, intelligent, articulate, with really fresh takes and compelling points on interesting topics and overall very impressive. 

Unfortunately they haven’t made it through to the finals but I know the judges had a really hard time in landing on the winners and finalists this heat.

It was nice to catch up with Nathan Stanford who was also there to watch his protégés.
