Intermediate Round Robins

Netball
Our intermediate netball round robin at Brighton Secondary College was a challenging but rewarding experience.
Although we only won one game out of several, the day taught us a lot about teamwork, resilience, and the importance of staying positive under pressure. Each match pushed us to work harder and highlighted areas we need to improve, such as communication and positioning on the court.
The highlight of the day was definitely the game we won. Everything seemed to come together — our passes were sharp, our defence was strong, and we played with real energy and confidence. That win reminded us of our potential and showed that when we work as a team and stay focused, we can compete strongly against other schools.
Despite the losses, the round robin helped bring our team closer together. We encouraged each other, stayed motivated, and learned how to deal with setbacks.
We're proud of the girls for their commitment to the teams!!

Intermediate Girls Football Round Robin
Last week on Monday, a group of year 9 and 10 girls went out for the girl’s footy day. We played Beaumaris, Parkdale, and McKinnon, winning one of our games. It was a great learning day, and also a very nice day just to get out in the sun and play some footy on the large Hampton oval. Thanks Mr Ward and Ms Bolton for coming along with us and the Year 10 “team leaders”.
