Synchrotron

The excursion to the Synchrotron was very informative. Though it was a Physics excursion, it was linked to different parts of the sciences, like Biology and Chemistry. We learned how the Synchrotron is used to study the structure of materials at the atomic level, which has applications in drug development, medical imaging, and environmental science. Seeing real-world uses for concepts we learn in class helped reinforce our understanding and made the experience more engaging. Overall, it was a valuable and inspiring experience.
