IDAHOBIT DAY

On Friday 16th, our school community marked IDAHOBIT Day (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia) with a special visit from headspace. IDAHOBIT, held globally on May 17th, is a day to stand together against discrimination and show visible support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
During lunchtime, the headspace team set up an engaging and informative stall to raise awareness about mental health and the importance of creating inclusive, safe spaces for all. Students were invited to participate in a range of activities and conversations promoting wellbeing, respect, and inclusion as well as bringing awareness to IDAHOBIT Day.
We were proud to see so many students engaging thoughtfully and respectfully with the headspace team. Their enthusiasm and openness reflect the kind of inclusive culture we strive to foster across our college.
A big thank you to headspace for their continued support and for helping us celebrate diversity and mental health awareness within our school.
