Inform and Empower Incursion
We had an Inform and Empower incursion where we learned how to stay safe when using the internet and digital devices. We learned about keeping our personal information private and what to do if something online makes us feel unsafe or uncomfortable. The session helped us feel more confident about making safe and responsible choices online.
Healthy Harold Incursion
We had a visit from Healthy Harold and learned about how to be a good friend and how to keep ourselves healthy and safe. We talked about how to show kindness, share, and help others when they need it. We also got to role play different social scenarios to work on our problem solving skills. It was really fun and helped us think about how we can nurture our existing friendships and form new ones too!
Reading in Level 1
In Level one we have started our Reading Groups, focusing on the skill of 'Visualising'. This is where we paint a picture in our head to imagine different stories. In our phonics activity as part of Reading Groups, students have been working on matching different words with a 'long a' sound, to their matching image.
