Interested in a career in Health?

The Wangaratta Health Careers Seminar is being held on Wednesday 27 May at 5:30-7:00pm at CUC Ovens Murray. The evening’s target audience includes Year 11 and 12 students and recent school leavers who are curious about health as a career path – whether they have a clear direction in mind or are still exploring their options.

The event features a facilitated panel discussion with representatives from La Trobe University, Charles Sturt University, GOTAFE, Gateway Health and Northeast Health Wangaratta. Students will hear about study pathways into health, what different health careers look like day to day and what local employers look for when recruiting. A Q&A session will follow, giving students the chance to ask questions directly.

We're aware that Northeast Health Wangaratta is also running a careers expo for students on 13 May – the two events complement each other well, and we'd encourage students interested in health to attend both.

This is a great opportunity for students to connect with local education providers and healthcare professionals, and to see firsthand the career opportunities available right here in Wangaratta.
