Year 12 PDS

Twelve brave early risers from Year 12 PDS met Ms Reynolds and Mr Phillips at school before 7am to jump on a bus and head to Melbourne for our Driver Education Course. 

After a stop off for bakery treats in Yea, we arrived in Bayswater and jumped into the classroom for an engaging session on correct driving procedures, basic transmission control, hazard perception, road law, braking distances. 

Next up, the students got into their allocated vehicles with their instructors for the practical component consisting of hills, slalom area, 3 point turn area, traffic lights, roundabouts etc. 

The students were met at their point of need based on their driving experience and all gained something from the experience. It was a big day but well worth it.
