Sport: Intermediate Boys and Girls Volleyball

At the end of Term 1, our Intermediate Boys Volleyball team came close in Wodonga, finishing as Upper Hume Runners-Up out of nine teams.

They defeated Catholic College Wodonga 2-0 (40-22), Wodonga Middle Years  2-0 (40-28) and Wodonga Senior SC 2-1 (51-46) to make the Final, losing in the deciding 3rd set to Victory Lutheran 1-2 (38-48).

For the three Year 9s in the team, another near miss - they were last year Hume Region Runner-Up,  just missing State Top 8, after being Upper Hume Champions.

Our Girls finished 5th of 9 teams, picking up wins against Wodonga Middle 2-0 (40-25) and Grace CC 2-0 (40-32).

A nice bit of Family Legacy with Isla Waldhart - her dad Ben made the State Volleyball team in 1994.

BEST BOYS - Clarence Lampa, Zach Wills, Teo Valle, Hugh Spring.

BEST GIRLS - Taylah Wyatt, Kaity Ford, Jurian Millama.
