Year 8 Report
Cameron Robinson
Wow – I can't believe we are at the end of Term 1 already. Our Year 8's have achieved some amazing things so far this year, and I can't wait to see what else we get up to this year.
Over the past few weeks, the Year 8's have been working hard wrapping up their term and getting stuck into their learning tasks.
The Year 8s have been showing great examples of leadership as they support the year 7's to find their feet and help them around the school.
Over the next few months, we have some exciting events coming up.
Next week we have Athletics Day where I look forward to seeing everyone tearing up the track and throwing down in the field.
Students are encouraged to wear their house colours for the event on April 2 and enjoy an action-filled day.
Next term, students can represent Woodmans Hill Secondary College in AFL, netball, soccer and hockey.
It will be a great experience and I hope to see our Year 8's representing the school.
While we come to the end of term, I wish everyone a safe, happy and connected holiday period and rest up ready for a big term 3.
