Year 7 Report

Emily Beale

Our Year 7 students recently embarked on an unforgettable adventure at Adekate Camp, where they spent time exploring the great outdoors, challenging themselves, and forming new friendships.

Over the course of the camp, students embraced a range of exciting activities. They tested their courage on the Leap of Faith and soared through the trees on the zipline. Orienteering sharpened their navigation skills, while archery put their aim to the test. A game of gaga ball added a fun and competitive edge to the experience.

One of the highlights was making and eating damper, a delicious bush-style treat, and working together to build huts in the wilderness. The camp provided the  perfect setting for teamwork, resilience, and plenty of laughter.

It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved, with memories made and connections formed that will last well beyond camp. Well done to all the students for making it such a special trip!
