Battle of the Bands takes on a new direction 

Date: August 28

Time: 5.30pm

Venue: 441 Murray St

Items: soloists, student bands, House bands, House choirs

This is a different format to the past. Our Performing Arts Centre will run stages between 5.30pm – 6.30pm. These will be Level 1 Music Rooms and will feature the soloists and student bands. There will be a break from 6.30pm – 7.00pm (tea and coffee station open) when all guests will move to Level 2. The battle of House Bands/choirs will commence on Level 2 at 7.00pm, with awards announced between 7.30pm and 8pm.

Quiz night a winner for Friends of St George's

Many thanks to Friends of St George's for organising and hosting a social event for Year 9 and 10 parents and carers - a quiz night held early this week supported by our new association Friends of St George's. The quiz night, hosted by Year 10 rep Janelle Barnes, was the first of three FOSG events for 2025.
