And the winner is . . . Izabella! Yesterday, the president of Perth Rotary Jill Dawson OAM congratulated Izabella on a fabulous presentation which led to her winning the semi-final of the Rotary 4-Way Speaking Compeition. "Izabella spoke so well under difficult circumstances with technology not quite working at optimum levels but she didn't skip a beat, spoke well, knowledgably and clearly,'' Ms Dawson said. "We were all so proud of her and excited that she has progressed to the next level.''
Accompanied to the Scarborough Rotary semi-final by Head of English Mr Kerrigan and her father, Nishan, Izabella tackled the topic: “Why we need to value media literacy as much as all other forms of literacy". Mr Kerrigan said she delivered a "very considered and impressive argument'' against a competitive field of speakers. The win means Izabella will fly to Geraldton to speak on Saturday, 20 September - the first time the final has been held in a regional centre.

We are guessing that the Potter family’s trophy cabinet is now full to overflowing with such athleticism shown by sisters Anouk and Fieke.
Recently, swimmer Anouk brought home another incredible batch medals – from the WA Short Course State Championships.
After three days of swimming, she won seven gold, seven silver and seven bronze in freestyle, butterfly and relays. Anouk became the 2025 State Short Course Champion in the U17 50 and 100 Butterfly, as well as in the Women's Open.
With her relay team, the 17 & Under 4 x 200 Freestyle, the girls became the 2025 State Champions and broke three State Records: WA All-Comers, WA Club/WA All-Time Club, and WA Residential State & WA Club.
An awesome weekend which she backed up with a fantastic week of production in Witches?! In Salem?!
