Love Your Library

Mr Alex Hanssen

New reads to brighten up grey days

Now halfway through term and deep into winter, it has been wonderful to see that the Laurence Library has continued to be a favourite spot for many students to spend time in despite the new array of options on offer between the campuses. We would love to see some new faces swing by too and make the most of what is on offer.

With the rainy weather hanging around, this is the perfect time to get comfortable indoors and pick up something new to read. There’s a certain kind of magic in opening a book while the rain taps against the windows, and we would love for you to discover a story that pulls you in.

The library is open to all year groups on Level 2 at 50 William Street – come and see what fun we have, you might just enjoy it!

One area that’s been especially popular is our growing manga and graphic novel collection. We are continuing to add new titles, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, now is the perfect time to dive in.

We are also open to your ideas on how we can expand our collection. If there is a book or series you think we are missing, let us know - we want the Library to reflect the interests and needs of all of you!

If you are looking for a dry place to study, a cosy spot to relax, or a new read to brighten up a grey day, come and make the most of the Laurence Library this term.
