Coming Up: Parent Quiz Night and FamilPicnic in Kings Park

Last Friday afternoon, Year 10 parents and guardians enjoyed a post-work catch-up at The Stables bar in the city.

Year 10 Rep Andrew Haines reports:

“A big thank you to the Year 10 families who came along to our get together last week. It was a smaller crowd this time, but what we lacked in numbers we more than made up for in good company. The chat flowed, there were plenty of laughs and everyone left having made a few new connections amongst the parent body at St George’s”. 

“It was a great reminder that it is the people who make these nights, not the size of the turnout. We would love to see even more Year 10 families come along next time.’’  

Next on the Friends of St George’s calendar is a quiz night for parents and guardians of Year 8 and 9 students, followed by the annual Year 7 Picnic in Kings Park.

Tuesday night, 1 September, Quiz Night is for parents and guardians only to have some fun testing their knowledge at St George’s.
