Rotary Exchange

Have you ever considered hosting an exchange student?

As evidenced by the successful 12-month exchange just completed by Year 12 Belgium student Elliot Notelaers, Rotary Exchange is a rich and rewarding experience for all involved.

St George’s Anglican School is proud to share an opportunity from the Perth Rotary Club that could bring a unique and rewarding experience into your home. Hosting a Rotary Exchange student is more than offering accommodation — it’s about welcoming a new culture into your family and creating lifelong connections.

Why consider hosting?

  • Experience a different culture firsthand
  • Build lasting international friendships
  • Support your family’s personal growth and global awareness
  • Inspire your children with new perspectives and experiences

What’s involved?

Rotary Exchange runs from July to June, with families typically hosting a student for around three months (flexible to suit your availability). Host families provide a safe, welcoming home, meals, and support as students settle into school and life in Australia.

Rotary offers full support throughout the program. All household members will need a Working With Children Check and to complete a Rotary Volunteer Declaration, with guidance provided every step of the way.

By opening your home, you’ll help foster international understanding and make a meaningful difference in a young person’s life.
