Year 7 Report
Emily Beale
What a fantastic term it has been for our Year 7's! From tackling new topics, settling into routines, and building friendships, the students have worked incredibly hard and should feel very proud of all they have achieved. It has been wonderful to see the progress they have made both in and out of the classroom, and now it is time for a well-deserved break.
As we wrap up the term, we would like to celebrate our Students of the Week, who have each shown outstanding qualities and effort:
Lola F – Lola has consistently come to class prepared and organised. She stays focused on her work and isn’t afraid to ask for help when she needs it. Her positive attitude towards learning is terrific – keep it up, Lola!
Jessica Y– Jess has worked exceptionally hard on her persuasive speech, taking on feedback and improving her work with real determination. Your effort in English has been fantastic, Jess – we are so proud of you!
Abbie B – Abbie has shown resilience, focus, and positivity in her approach to her schoolwork. She continues to put in great effort and demonstrates a wonderful attitude in the classroom. Well done, Abbie!
Tyler S – Tyler is recognised this week for his caring and helpful nature. He is always willing to lend a hand to his friends and brings a positive, supportive presence to the class. Great work, Tyler!
Zarah H – Zarah is a fantastic role model who always treats others with kindness. She leads by example and consistently shows respect in all her interactions. Keep being amazing, Zarah!
Student of the term:
A big congratulations to our student of the term, Maria K. Maria has consistently demonstrated the Woodmans Hill Secondary College School values of Respect, Determination, and Excellence. She approaches every task with a positive attitude, shows kindness and consideration towards her peers and teachers, and works diligently to achieve her best. Her commitment to learning and her respectful, determined approach make her a role model for others in the school community. Well done, Maria!
We are so proud of all Year 7 students for their hard work this term. Have a restful and enjoyable break – you’ve earned it! We look forward to seeing everyone back next term, refreshed and ready for more learning and growth.
