Junior School  Report

Jocelyn Gepp

As we reach the end of a busy and exciting Term, it’s wonderful to reflect on just how much has been achieved across our Junior School. The past ten weeks have been filled with learning, teamwork, creativity, and opportunities for our students to shine both inside and outside the classroom.

Over the last fortnight, our Year 9's participated in the Smart Assk Program, run by Ballarat Community Health, which focused on the important theme of Party Safe. Our Year 7's were invited to a special Father’s Day Morning Tea, a much-loved tradition that brought families together to celebrate and connect run by our Year 11 VCE:VM students. On the sporting front, students have been busy competing in basketball, volleyball, and badminton, showing great spirit, teamwork, and perseverance.

This term also saw our students take part in some fantastic whole-school experiences. Many of our students proudly represented the school at the State School Spectacular, showcasing their incredible talents on a big stage. We also enjoyed the excitement of Book Week, with students and staff celebrating the joy of reading through fun activities, displays, and dress-ups.

This week, we will also come together for our Junior School Assembly to celebrate the many incredible achievements of our students throughout the term. From classroom successes to extracurricular highlights, it was a wonderful way to finish on a positive note and recognise the effort, growth, and enthusiasm shown by our Junior School students.

We are very proud of everything our students have accomplished and are grateful for the ongoing support from our families and staff who make these opportunities possible. As we look ahead, we are excited for what the next term will bring—but for now, we wish everyone a safe, happy, and restful break.
