Term 3: Growth, Celebration, and Community Spirit!

As Term 3 draws to a close, we reflect on a vibrant and productive nine weeks packed with learning, creativity, and community engagement.

Our 10A, 10B and 10C students developed their study and organisational skills through participation in the Elevate Education seminar. This session provided valuable strategies for time management, beating procrastination, and effective study habits—tools that will undoubtedly support them in their academic journey moving forward.

Book Week was another highlight, with students throwing themselves into the festivities with enthusiasm and imagination. From character dress-ups to engaging literary activities, the spirit of storytelling and a love of reading was well and truly alive across the school!

Adding a heartwarming touch to the term, our VCE:VM students also organised a fantastic Father’s Day Market. With thoughtful planning and plenty of creativity, they created a wonderful event that celebrated the special father figures in our lives while showcasing their initiative and teamwork.

Term 3 has been a fantastic demonstration of our students' growth, spirit, and sense of community. We’re proud of all they’ve achieved and look forward to an exciting and rewarding Term 4!

Students of the Week

The following students were acknowledged at assemblies for their demonstration of the school values:

  • Ben S - for enthusiastic participation in English class.

  • Charlotte B – for being proactive in catching up on learning in humanities.

  • Stacey C – for demonstrating excellent work ethic, team work and determination across a range of subjects.

  • Koda B-R – for being respectful, helpful and welcoming of new students.

Father's Day Stall

Year 10 VCE:VM students worked industriously throughout the term to create a broad range of wonderful Father's Day gifts to sell to the school community. Engraved chopping boards, cards, mugs, drink bottles, sugar cookies, aprons and keychains were all on offer. It was great to see how proud the students were of their efforts and their enthusiastic sales tactics in action! The money raised will go towards a new fence and fixing the green houses in the VCE:VM garden.
