Y6: Mini Boss - The Lab Incursion

Year 6 students recently enjoyed The Lab, an exciting hands-on chemistry incursion that brought science to life. Working in teams, students explored states of matter, the pH scale, reaction rates and solubility through a series of engaging experiments.

Using their scientific discoveries, students then designed and created their own customised bath bombs, experimenting with colours and scents before taking their creations home.

The incursion linked directly to our Chemical Sciences unit while developing important enterprise skills such as teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, 

problem-solving and innovation. 

It was a fun and memorable day that inspired curiosity and a deeper appreciation 

of science in everyday life.
