Y8: Kryal Castle Excursion

Year 8 students recently visited Kryal Castle for an exciting and immersive learning experience exploring Medieval Europe. 

Throughout the day, students participated in a range of interactive activities designed to deepen their understanding of medieval history, lifestyle and the feudal system. Highlights included witnessing the Battle of Hastings, learning about ancient weaponry, participating in leather craft making and experiencing traditional medieval dance. Students also explored the castle grounds and gathered information to support their historical research. The excursion provided a valuable opportunity to bring classroom learning to life while developing students’ understanding of Medieval European society and culture.
