Y5: States of Matter Incursion

On Monday 4th May 2024, Year 5 had an amazing incursion experience for their science unit. Students have learnt a lot of new information about matter. 

The objective of the incursion is for students to investigate the properties and behaviours of chemicals and materials, and develop their scientific inquiry skills through observation and experimentation. They explore reversible and irreversible changes that occur when chemicals are mixed, to extend their knowledge of matter and chemical properties.  

The students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt many educational facts in the process. Hopefully we have inspired one of our students to become a scientist in the future!
