Year 11- Looking ahead 

Our Year 11s have plenty to feel proud of and I hope the break offers time to recharge before finishing the year with confidence.

I am excited to welcome our 2027 Student Leadership Team. All students who nominated will be notified of their outcome later today, with positions revealed to the school community at the Handover Assembly in Week 2 of Term Four. For those who do not receive the news they hoped for, it is natural to feel disappointed. We are proud of you for putting yourself forward. As Year 12 students next year, you all have opportunities to show leadership through your actions, kindness and broader contributions to school life. Your ideas remain valued and my door is always open if you would like to chat.

Year 12 - Special events 

Well done to our Year 12s on completing mock examinations and APEx World of Work Week. I hope you take a moment to appreciate your efforts before turning your attention to what comes next. The holidays offer time to rest alongside preparing for external examinations or finalising coursework. Break revision into small, focused sessions and give extra attention to topics you find challenging. Make a manageable plan, use feedback to guide your next steps and leave room for rest and relaxation – equally as important in these final few weeks. 

With the events and traditions of your final school days drawing near, there is so much to look forward to. I am excited to celebrate these milestones with you and see you enjoy the moments that make this time special. For now, catch your breath and recharge for a memorable final term.
